Okay to make them so smooth, I just blend them very lightly first going back over and over depending on how dark I want the colors to look, because I'm using kids crayola pencils, if I start out to heavy it doesn't look as blended and smooth. This process take a awhile and also awhile to master.

As far as skin colors I use peach and sand the most, if they have a bit of light in the photograph shining on their face then I use very slightly a little bit of yellow.

oh I use crayola's too. what color do you blend with? is it white?

Oh I use peach and light brown for skin color when I draw.
